8 mm x 2.5 mm | 1.2 Vrms | 240hz | LRA Z-Axis

Our VG0825001D is the smallest 8mm diameter LRA coin vibration motor on the market. Its Z-Axis vibration and low current characteristics make it an excellent choice for wearables. A linear resonant actuator driver IC such as the TI DRV2605 is required. Double stick adhesive, rubber foam pads and custom lead wire lengths are available. Custom FPC are also available for orders of 10K pcs+.

8 mm x 2.5 mm | 1.2 Vrms | 240hz | LRA Z-Axis

Our VG0825001U is the snallest 8mm diameter LRA coin vibration motor on the market.  This part replaces the VG0825001D.    which is now EOL.    The internal spring assembly has been redesigned to use fewer internal parts and higher production yield.   Its Z-Axis vibration and low current characteristics make it an excellent choice for wearables.  For best performance, a linear resonant actuator driver IC  with "Auto Resonance Tracking" enabled must be used.  Double stick adhesive, rubber foam pads and custom lead wire lengths are available. Custom FPC are also available for orders of 10K pcs+.

8 mm x 2.5 mm | 1.2 Vrms | 240hz | LRA Z-Axis

The VG0825002D is the spring contact version of our  VG0825001D linear resonant actuator. It uses helical spring contacts and are designed to mate with corresponding contacts pads on the PCB.   The motor has double stick tape on one side that can be used to secure it to the products housing. A hole can be cut in the PCB, allowing it to be situated in the middle of the board. Since reflow solderable SMD versions of this part are not yet available, a coin vibration motor like this can be used to streamline the assembly process by eliminating the need for soldering wires. Do not solder wires to the springs.
